Description
This offering features a hired gun who, after a close scrape (he was almost gunned down by a band of renegades), tries to settle down at a Wyoming ranch. But he finds that the course of peaceful retirement, not to mention true love, doesn't exactly run smooth. Beginning in the late 1870s and covering a couple of decades, the story works a familiar but ever-resonant western theme: simple vaules made complicated by a rapidly modernizing world.
