Notes

Description
In the 1880s, fourteen year old Button Benton gets a chance to fulfill his dream of becoming a cowboy by going to work on Mr. Grant's ranch. He has long dreamed of becoming a top hand like Mr. Grant's son, Tom. When Tom is hurt in a horse accident, the boy finds himself trying to take over the duties of a regular rider. Button learns a lot about ranching and people. He rides with a posse after cattle rustlers, and solves the murder of his friend in an exciting climax.
